Stage plays

I believe good theatre is liminal, worth repeating, and strengthens community. Screenplays

I believe good screenplays- whether for film or TV- focus on characters we don't want to look away from. Each second of screen time packs a punch and immediately connects with the audience. Video Games

I believe good video games encourage players to be the co-author of their own story, and in the process, help them heal core wounds they didn't realize needed healing.Past positions include being a Narrative Designer for Crazy Maple Studio (Chapters), Narrative Designer for Mattel163, & Lead Narrative Designer for Sunbird Studio

Audio drama

Teaching

I believe good instructors help their students, young and old, discover what stories they want to tell, and nourish their courage to share those stories far and wide.I have previously taught writing workshops at Writopia Lab, PlayPenn, and Chicago Dramatists. I also independently taught Your Worst Script, my most popular workshop to date.Currently (circa August 2024), I am not teaching any writing workshops. However, I always offer sliding-scale private sessions for adults and kids (including creative writing, essay writing, and homework help).
